The Cavs welcome the Sacramento Kings to the banks of Cuyahoga River for a national TV primetime showcase. The Cavs have a magic number of one, and sounds like all hands are on deck. The Oklahoma City Thunder are on track to take a beatdown at home against the Los Angeles Lakers, so the #1 overall seed is still up for grabs. As for the Kings, it looks like they’re grinding hard for that 10 seed in the West. The real test for the Cavs will be on the boards, where the Kings are nearly a top 5 rebounding rate team. Can they keep up or do they play soft? Stay tuned…
Tip off is scheduled for 6:00PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted nationally on NBATV or regionally on Fanduel Sports Network, Go Cavs!
Zach Lavine’s bucket at the end was after the shot clock expired, so it shouldn’t have counted. Cavs had to foul twice thinking they were down two possessions when they should have only been down one. Another crap show by the NBA/officiating crew. Shouldn’t New York be the ones reviewing that play and seeing if the shot counted? The officiating crew didn’t even know what the proper protocol was as the crew chief took fault for the error after the game. Embarrassing.
Any reason Dean Wade only played 3 minutes?

the problem is that such a review stops play, which is a big advantage for the defense, so they don’t do it very often. it might be something that could be monitored in real time by an additional official, maybe at the league office.
there are always a lot of blown calls in basketball. e.g., late in the Duke / Houston game, several bad calls favored Duke (as expected), but an iffy call at the end favored Houston. it looked like Houston had that rebound anyway, so it probably didn’t make any difference.
Does anyone know when the playoff coverage switches from the fanduel app to cable tv? Our subscription is about to expire
