The good guys are back in Cleveland for the back-to-back to take on Toronto. Cavs will be missing Lonzo (rest), Garland (glass), Tyson (concussion), and Strus (foot). Toronto is missing Agbaji, while Sandro Mamukelashvili and Collin Murray-Boyles are questionable. I predict a win. The rotation does not want to be show up by the bench. Go Cavs.

And the last time they were in the Top 5 in Opponent 3-point % was when they led the league all the way back in ’08-’09, which happened to be Sasha Pavlovic‘s final season with the Cavs. (*Again, for perspective only.)

was just going to say the same. not a bad flyer, but it doesn’t look like LNJ has any/much gas left in the tank. OTOH, it looks like Bryant and Nyquil can both give us what we hoped for in LNJ, and maybe more.
might be time for LNJ to slide into the Tristan Thompson role, or maybe hang them up.

This could have been a nice springboard to a roll. Instead, one wonders how this team cannot control the paint with a pair of seven footers. They shot the three poorly, but that wasn’t the major problem. Was Allen unplayable? He played 20 minutes.
Will be interested in what Kenny has to say about his bigs.
Allen was ok. Not exactly overactive but he was fine Mobley was baaaad.
I worry about Mobley. The team seems to collectively believe he is the key to unlocking a title. I wonder if he is built to shoulder that kind of pressure.

and, Allen dominated the game on Wednesday, with 30 points, great D, and lotsa rebounds, while Mobley rested — and Allen still played better than Mobley on Thursday. as usual, the KJG crew spit out some posts wanting to give Allen away — they need to upgrade the AI package that produces this crap.
Bench cleared. Zero D in the paint tonight. Mobley has been awful.
Brutal. Started off trying to get JA going, but then it appeared only DM willing to attack in the paint. Mobley (who didn’t play last night) largely MIA.
Nomad, looks like Kenny has decided to use Nyquil to solve the team’s problem with the boards.
Need more from Mobley and Allen.

He does not deter drives hardly at all. His D, and ours, is slipping.
