Mike Brown Wins NBA Coach Of The Month

Mike Brown was named coach of the month for the Eastern Conference today, with the Grizzlies’ Lionel Hollins getting the award in the Western Conference. As weird as the criteria for coaching awards are, it’s good to see MB get a little bit of positive recognition, considering how much of a whipping boy he ends up being every time the Cavaliers lose a game.
Brown seems to be getting more and more comfortable using his new toys and figuring out how to deal with Delonte West’s up and downs, along with his typically fabulous command of the Cavs’ defensive system. Congrats to Coach Brown.

Not to be picky, but I’m assuming you meant to say Mike Brown won COTM for the Eastern Conference?
Unless I am totally wrong about how the Coach of the Month award is given out.
