2012-04-03Don’t rest your starters, Pop! Or at least play Tim Duncan. Maybe Tristan Thompson can learn something from checking one of the best big men to ever play the game.
Antawn Jamison has been struggling mightily since the trade deadline. I wonder, with Jamison failing to score with any efficiency, Irving on the bench with a bum shoulder, and Varejao rocking a blazer, if this isn’t the worst team in the league right now. My apologies to any Charlottans (I totally assume this is what Charlotte residents call themselves) because you’ve had to endure this level of basketball the entire season, but the Cavs are exceptionally not good right now.
Boobie Gibson underwent season-ending ankle surgery yesterday. He tweeted after the surgery was over that the doctor gave him great news afterward. He didn’t elaborate on what that news is, but one can assume the surgery went well.
And Kyrie Irving is the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month. Even in a not-so-great month the gap between him and the best non-Rubio rookies is pretty wide.
UPDATE: Irving will play tonight against the Spurs.
If reports about Boobie having a 2.3 mil buyout are true he will almost certainly be back next season. The Cavs have plenty of space and have plenty of roster space with Jamison, Parker and Samuels on the way out.
Has anyone noticed that Hickson is looking good in Portland? in 7 games a 20+ PER on 28 mins a night. Not horrific defensive metrics either.
Cavs Office went too far cutting away so many good players. It’s like a surgeon doing a hack job smiling what a wonderful job he did. We’re left here in total disbelief. What the hell did you do Grant? Did we really have to get rid of Sessions and JJ? Could we have been okay just keeping them this year? idk. Hack job
Wow this team looks terrible. How did they go from mediocre to putrid so quickly?
@kevin. i would be elated with that. MKG would be my favorite outside of Davis. Just hope that raptors dont get Davis. a Jonas, Davis combo is crazy
The most recent draft express mock draft from yesterday has the Cavs taking Beal at #5.
Don’t let the door hit you Boobie. More cap space! Anyone still want to entertain the thought of Jamison (in any role) next year…see you as well. The only unsigned players on this roster worth bringing back are Gee and Samuels. Let’s hope they can get 4 roster players in this year’s draft…youth movement here we come!

Lebron: “I’ve played Boston so many times the last few years that I know what it takes to win, and I know ultimately how you can win…” [insert joke here].
