2010-01-14-Some intrigue on Windhorst’s twitter today, as there were some rumors (possibly via NPR) that Shaq and Delonte weren’t going to be playing tonight, which led to some trade speculation. As it turns out, it looks like it was a false alarm.
-The New York Times’ Jonathan Abrams on Chuck Hayes, who looks to be officially replacing Shane Battier as the guy du jour among basketball geeks. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is still playing small clubs and waiting to break through.
-Looks like no Dwight Howard in the dunk contest this year, and possibly no LeBron. Windhorst tweeted that LeBron says he doesn’t know who’s going to be announced.
Light links today, but tune in later for a preview.

this is a bit simpler. it would be purely a salary dump for the wizards, and it seems the kings would benefit from the trade, too. Kevin Martin and Thomas’ expiring contract for Butler, West, and Hickson
This is my dream trade

…..Seriously, Washington has young people with potential and cap room, the cavs can give the kings a first round pick or something. that exact trade would never work, but something close to it. would be sweet. Mo Williams, K-Mart, Lebron, Jamison, Shaq. Can’t stop that
Anyone think theres any possibility the Cavs can get K-Mart and Jamison?
