After a report from Brian Windhorst just three days ago s<\/a>aid\u00a0the Cavs and Tristan Thompson were more than $14 million apart in contract negotiations, Chris Broussard has reported TT will\u00a0re-sign for a contract worth $53 million over three years.

That would mean Canadian Dynamite would\u00a0be making about $17 million a season, which is not close to what he\u00a0reportedly desired. He was looking for a five year deal worth $94 million, a max contract. If he were maxed out, he would get\u00a0$18.8 million per season.<\/p>\n

This reported contract is\u00a0about $2\u00a0million less than what TT’s group wanted three days ago, and it is still a million more than the $16 million a year the Cavs reportedly wanted to offer.\u00a0This\u00a0contract sounds ridiculous because it might just be imaginary at this point. Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journa<\/em>l and Joe Vardon of the Northeast Ohio Media Group<\/em> have both tweeted that no deal has been done:
