Live Thread Cavs vs. Clippers

Cleveland welcomes Blake Griffin and the Clippers on the heels of news that Derrick Rose will miss another two weeks with his ankle sprain. But the Clippers will be without two of their starters, Patrick Beverly and Dino Gallinari, and are starting Sindarius Thornwell and Wesley Johnson so advantage: Cavs.
After starting 4-0, the clippers have eight of nine, and six in a row. To say they want to get back in the win column would be an understatement. Key will be stopping super point forward Blake Griffin, and not letting DeAndre Jordan control the boards.
Also key will be the Cleveland guards at least playing Lou Williams to a draw. Super sub Williams is posting a 22 PER, and 59% true shooting for 17 a night, but 23+ in his last 5 games.
Let’s hope the Cavs clip the Clips.

No, it would matter. Imagine Jordan and Beverley on this team, just for example. They have too many no D guys, too many mismatched parts (thanks Dan and Corby)…Lebron will only try when he wants, but even so, no reason this has to be such a tire fire every game.
Not a trade we need…just need to play 12 guys. Half the issue with us is tired legs, the other half is terrible horrendous otherworldly bad coaching. Not even saying Lue isn’t a good coach. But for the current season’s duration, he has been.
They need guys who fit better together…this roster was incompetently assembled…

I get mad about the defense here. But most of it is on LeBron. He literally is doing nothing on the weak side. But the other part of this is they know they can take the Clips whenever they want. Which is dangerous.

The Cavs put a nice run together but I’m with ya. The frustration level is beyond the roof. Clue is a horrid coach.
