2023-03-17The Cavs welcome the Washington Wizards to the shores of Lake Erie in a low-key important Eastern Conference tilt. The Wizards are competing with the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers for the 10th seed in the East, while the Cavs are trying to complete the season series sweep of the Wizards as well as hang on to the fourth seed in the East. Surely the Wizards will have revenge on their minds, and the Cavs should have a sense of urgency to keep the fourth seed. Jarrett Allen will miss the game and Lamar Stevens will start in his place according to Chris Fedor of cleveland.com
Who are the Wizards statistically? They’re the definition of mediocrity doing nothing well and also doing nothing awfully. One thing that they can do is move the ball well and make some shots, but they can be exploited a variety of ways. The Cavs can push the pace, crash the glass, and disrupt passing lanes are the three things that stand out.
