Live Thread: Cavs vs. Pistons

The drama that is the Cleveland Cavaliers continues even after a successful win against the Pacers. They couldn’t play any defense and LeBron had 11 turnovers for a rare quadruple double, but they still managed to pull out a victory, 115-108. Nonetheless, the issues have not disappeared and Isaiah Thomas doesn’t think he should shoulder the blame even though his defense is outrageously awful.
Sunday night’s match-up is against the Detroit Pistons who are struggling worse than the Cavs. With a 22-25 record, the Pistons are losers of their last seven straight games. No one’s been traded and there hasn’t been much noise on that front lately so it appears all of the Cavaliers are available tonight except Dwayne Wade. As usual, I expect Cleveland to play down to their opponents and make this a much closer game then usual. Go Cavs!

This Cavs team very, very rarely gets a stop…occasionally the other team misses a shot is all…

We have a lot of guys who decide they are going to shoot no matter what & persist even if they drop it or the timing gets messed up. Love just did it. Move the ball more.

I really don’t have much doubt that Cavs would be winning this game if Calderon had all of IT’s first half minutes…

I liked the lack of turnovers early and the play by the Cavs’ front court. Everything else mostly stunk.
Pretty poor defensive quarter after a decent one in the first… can’t give up 61 points to teams like the Pistons who are missing their starting back court…
