Live Thread: Cavs vs Bucks
2019-11-29Tough one, tonight, Cavs fans. The Bucks have won nine straight, and 13 of the last 14. They do have a banged up Khris Middleton, who’s coming off the bench till he gets healthy, but tonight’s game is a tall order, even if the Bucks are starting the Big Ragu. The task eems a little taller after this slightly terrifying pre-game press conference from John Beilein who complained about NBA traveling, praised Larry Nance, and encouraged mid-rangers.

Why was it terrifying? Because if you watched last game, there was no doubt about most of the travel calls. Also, because he’s advocating for 15-footers instead of getting at the bigs inside, or as I like to call it: losing basketball by players too short to finish inside consistently, or kick it to three.
Cleveland is relatively healthy, with only Henson and Windler still out. Henson is supposedly close to coming back but not ready yet.
We’ll see what happens. Let’s hope the Cavs get Love going early and keep Giannis from 40. Go Cavs.

Good fight, especially when remembering they were down 20. I am so not sold on Sexton even if he did play better in the second half. Feel like Garland already has a better feel for the game as far as team bball. Sexton just sort of makes me think of Clarkson. He might win you a game once in a blue moon, but he also might shoot you out of a lot of others.

32 assists for the Cavs… offense got humming tonight, especially from the starters.
Enjoyed this game, way more competitive than I expected. Connaugton had a quiet evening, says something about Bucks depth. Still feel like they will never be as good as they can be with Coach Bud…

Giannis with the defensive play of the game…. 50/50 bounces didn’t go Cavs way. Nice fight though in the 2nd half.
All Sexton had to do was screen for Garland and Garland had a 3. instead posts up? Ugh.
