Live Thread: Thunder @ Cavs

Good evening CtB!

Tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the shores of Lake Erie taking on a rested Cavs team who finally got two days in a row off. Conversely, the Thunder will be playing their second game of a back to back after a thrashing in Charlotte at the hands of the Hornets. The NBA season is truly merciless.

Supposedly the Cavs will have both Rajon Rondo and Lamar “Top Dawg” Stevens available to play tonight. The Thunder come into the game with all meaningful hands on deck.

In their previous meeting in Oklahoma City, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley had virtuoso offensive performances to stave off a feisty effort of the Thunder. The Cavs should be prepared for any and all attempts by the Thunder to neutralize DG’s impact on the game offensively.

The game within the game for the Cavs is staying mentally focused against an inferior opponent. The Cavs are favored by double digits, the challenge will be handling the expectations and maintaining the “scrap” as Coach J.B. Bickerstaff loves to say.

Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00PM ET and will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes, GO CAVS!
