Playoff Live Thread (Game 6): Cavs @ Magic
2024-05-03Good evening CtB!
The Cavs have traversed to Disney World to take on the Orlando Magic in the first elimination game of the series. The Cavs have the opportunity to close out the pesky Magic and advance to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs for the first time in the post-LeBron era. Jarrett Allen is out, so another career defining game will be necessary from Evan Mobley. Thankfully, Coach JB Bickerstaff has inserted Marcus Morris, Sr. into the starting lineup instead of the young and struggling Isaac Okoro. Hopefully there will be more than a five minute sighting of Sam Merrill. Go Cavs!
Tip off is scheduled at 7:00PM Eastern time and will be nationally broadcasted on ESPN.
yepp.. dont trust the Cavs to score 5-7 pts and get stops (without fouling)..
Looks like we’re headed to game 7
As long as DM doesn’t hurt himself here…
just a damn shame…
and dG leaves his man for an easy layup..
Welp
Garland fell asleep on the box out.
DG not blocking out his man
two turnovers by DG.. dumbbb
Cant waste a DM and DG game to this Magic team
DG lazily gets an 8 second.
He is @$$.
We only have 1 guy who can make a play.
Un effing believable – 8 seconds call
Mobley. If you’re gonna foul there th leave him in the floor
Our team hasnt showed up besides DM and DG.
DG with a TO.
DM with a triple
Don’t breath on Franz
The difference in officiating has been so stark.
Need some movement and Strus for 3.
Where’s caris been?
In witness protection w Sam Morrell
We need to stop fouling..
We need someone besides DM to be a threat to score.
Okoro turning down the open shot fucks the whole possession.
OMG this officiating.
Garland got pushed.
Wedgie
JFC what do the Cavs have to do to get a call.
Donovan Mitchell ties Kobe Bryant with 30 pts in the paint in the last 25 years.
Eat a Richard, Jalen!
JFC stop passing to Mobley unless it’s a dunk
I’ve literally been complaining all game about terrible officiating and terrible rotations. I’m still complaining. My favorite rotation is the one that can’t shoot, can’t rebound, with just one distributer. JB has to be the worst coach in the playoffs right now.
Mitchell and DG has the most paint points by guards in the playoffs in the last 20 years. ..
Fuck these flopping choads.
Cole Anthony with a ridiculous drive, wow
Niang is utter anus
Ingalls just fouled him.
Looks like this is going to be Magic ball
Magic will self implode. Cavs win if they keep driving. Everytime. No more shooting
Mo was apparently targeted by a sniper. 😂
I like attacking the rack.
Especially when 5-22 from deep.
SPIDA MVP
DM 13 pts in the quarter and 32 pts for the game.
How we doin’? Who’s feeling a win?
DM just relentless to the paint.
More please. 🙏
Spida. Epic quarter.
Lol. Bout time we get away with a bs no call
Eat digck, MO!
All of sudden the Cavs are putting Magic on their asses.
That was not a foul on Niang
Good TO.
They’re freaking grinding.
DG like…
Mitchell still out there
LETS GOOOOO CRANK UP THE PRESSURE ON THESE YOUNGINS
DM really hurting. Seems like more pain than anything else, but its gotta be tough.
13-0 run by the Cavs.. finally some scoring and defense.
God I hope DM is OK.
Max! The North Canton lizard is hopping!
DG giving Strus the chance to get loose
The lead. Unreal
I like this early Q3 energy
Finally some consistent play for a few minutes.
How does Mitchell not get a foul call?
Concerning that Mobley not out there at the end. Another injury is all we need.
Looks like he’s ok.
I think they were protecting him from foul trouble.
As shitty as they shot, I’ll take it.
Down 4 at half, on the road, despite missing almost every 3 attempt – not bad.
oh yeah this has the vibe of cavs winning barely at the end, gonna have eat tums though the whole night.
That’s how Cavs fans roll. Plus hydration of one sort or another
i agree go Cavs
Gotta make your damn FTs.
Donovan’s FT shooting is an issue tonight.
Suggs grifting. DM grifts right back.
That block was one of dg’s few bad decisions.
Honestly DG and DM need to shoot it every time down the court
yup, LeBron Kyrie game 6 performance.
