2025-03-28Happy Friday, Cavs fans! The wine and gold tip off the weekend with a matchup against Detroit who’ve been resting since Tuesday. Cleveland will be without Strus and Jerome, while Detroit is missing Cade Cunningham. Cleveland will have to watch out for letdown, as Cade is far and away Detroit’s best player while Jalen Duren is no slouch. Meanwhile, now that the Cavs’ bigs are back, we’ll see if Kenny continues with the “two rebounders at all times” approach. I’d think against Duren, you’d want that. Should be a fun battle. Go Cavs.

Haven’t looked at the stats, but the difference between early-season and present day Okoro is dreadfully disappointing.
Cavs have had multiple recent games where, for the other team, getting a win is essential.

Disappointing stat: out-assisted 26 to 15. With every other stat category essentially a draw, this one suggests the Cavs a) missed Jerome and b) are not moving the ball as they did when they were rolling.
They missed Strus probably even more than Ty regarding ball movement. He has a higher assist ratio and plays more minutes than Ty.
