Live Thread: Cavs vs. Grizz (#ItGoesTo11)
2017-12-02The Cavs continue through their two weeks of yo-yo-ing between home and away games with a stop back at the Q against the mightily struggling Memphis Grizzlies. Talk about two teams heading in diametrically opposed directions… Cleveland has won 10 straight, while Memphis has dropped their last 10. Things are looking up for the Cavs with LeBron James winning his 35th EC Player of the Month Award, while also hyping for DWayne Wade for the early lead in the Sixth Man of the Year race. Meanwhile, Memphis just fired their coach, David Fizdale, last week, and has all kinds of friction between players, management and ownership.
Both teams have been dealing with early season injuries (the oft-hurt Mike Conley has been out for a couple of weeks, and the Grizz are also missing Wayne Selden, Brandan Wright, Chandler Parsons and possibly even Marc Gasol tonight), yet the Cavs seem to have gotten stronger despite theirs (the streak has largely come without Derrick Rose, Tristan Thompson and Iman Shumpert). Reports are that Shump will miss 6-8 weeks following surgery to repair his meniscus, although it’s possible that TT will return next week… not to mention the possible imminent return of Isaiah Thomas.
Yes, it’s certainly plausible that this qualifies as the ultimate trap game for the Cavs, since the Grizz usually play their toughest ball when their backs are against the wall… however, I would be genuinely surprised if both streaks didn’t go to 11…
Prediction: The Cavs turn it up to 11 on the struggling Grizzlies… 111-91.

GO CAVS!
I can’t stand Gus Johnson.
Bucks hang on.
Terrible throw by Barrett
Barrett has left a lot of points on the field tonight.
Bucks are so predictable offensively. Yikes. Cannot believe Urban didn’t go for it. FG does not change a whole lot.
Bucks have kind of messed around as well. 3 TOs. FG blocked. Was comfortable. Dogfight now.
Would be nice if Rose returned for the Bulls game. Even if he cannot play, take a bow in Chicago.
Dislocated finger for Frye could be a problem for his shot. Despite the issues tonight, at least it was a win.
sounds great ( we raise beef on the farm also along with the hops —-STEAK AND ALE )—–jose “put that fork away”—-tapering off somewhat—still helpful to this team for 10-15 minutes a night —–sounds as if drose is leaning on coming back

so evil- ( I got on you somewhat about you making dinner )- what did you make
Steak dinners for the kids…
Chicago next–dwade going home—sure they will “junk “it up against us—–didn’t catch the status of channing ‘s injury —anyone hear ?
need for the bucks to score 3-4 more td’s and hold down the badgers —would like their chances then for playoff spot
At least they pulled it out and kept the streak going… need to keep focus cuz lots of cupcakes they could still choke on between now and Christmas…
dwade is also good in the clutch—not afraid of the “big stage -moment “
Well, he is a three time champ…
when griz get healthy—they will surpass the nets in wins
when is the last time that cavs have won 11 in /row
2015 Jan or Feb I think…
Yeah. A couple months before KLove got his arm yanked out of its socket.
