2021-01-22Greetings from Bucharest CtB! Given the time difference, I was only able to see the tail end of the Collin Sexton NBA Jam Experience, but WOW! What a show!
Tonight, we’ll see if the Young Bull can pull off a repeat performance as part of the NBA’s new tribute to Ernie Banks of teams playing back-to-back games in one city tips off. He should have an even easier time getting his shots off as Kevin Durant won’t play in this one.
The Nets still have plenty of firepower with James Harden and Kyrie Irving, yet Durant was the primary reason Brooklyn was even able to stay in the first installment on Wednesday. If the Cavs can once again dominate the Nets with their waves of giant bodies, offset by their rising superstar scoring guard… it might be a long night for Steve Nash and Co.

Cedi’s shooting variance and Drummond’s questionable decision making the last two minutes are the only things keeping this from being a double digit Cavs lead rn…
Cavs were about to enter the half up 7 or 9 and doing it “easy”. What a waste.
Drummond would be better on a team where he clearly is the #3 (or #4) guy. He should never be taking the most shots. If he’d play like the 3rd wheel, he’d be great. But he needs two made guys ahead of him.
Plus/Minus breakdown: Cedi, Nance, Dotson, DG net negatives.
Sexton, Prince, Okoro Dre, Windler, net positives.
Sexton with 6 assists in the first half….. that’s insane. If he takes a leap in his passing, he’s going to become a completely different player.
Dre has more shot attempts than Sexton…. that should never happen.
I would sit Dre the second half… while Koby hopefully works the phones for a trade…

Pelton is not that bright. He is a stat guy with bad takes consistently. He does not think the game well.
I agree that he definitely looks too much at pure stats and contracts…Allen is perfect for the Cavs group…he’s well worth the contract.
