Live Thread: Cavs @ Pistons

The Cavs have traversed across the Great Lake Erie to the Motor City for the first game of a five game road trip for the 6-1 squad. Unfortunately, the headline for this matchup is the Cavs’ injury report with Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, and Dylan Windler all reportedly out with injury. The Cavs will turn to Caris LeVert at point guard, with Isaac “Ice” Okoro and “James” Dean Wade filling out the starting lineup.
Even though the Cavs are without their top two offensive engines, it’s not unreasonable to think that the Cavs should at least be competitive given how bad Detroit has been to start the season. They’re a bottom five offensive and defensive team to start the year. If the Cavs can lock it down on defense, the first team to break 90 points probably wins.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:00PM and will be broadcasted live on Bally Sports Ohio, Go Cavs!

i see what you mean, but it also reinforces the idea Caris’ offense will be a difference maker in the playoffs when teams key in on DG/Mitchell.

Don’t understand the flagrant…that rule is for reckless close outs on jump shots, not for defending the lane…total misinterpretation of the rule…thankfully it has no effect on the outcome…which btw is pretty amazing…seeing these guys cruise without spida and garland…
