I think the eye injury messed up the start and then he had a hard time figuring out how to play with Mitchell. His 50 pt game Spida was out. Plus, teams are playing him like he’s an all-star more as well.

We’ve scored 30+ in each quarter (30-37-32).. offensive isn’t a problem this game.. just need to hit our free throws 14/20 (70%).

I think the Cavs are showing growth in how they deal with physicality. This is the not the same team that got shook by the Raps rough stuff earlier this season. They are playing with edginess.

Eh. Easy to do with no JJJ or Adams for Grizzlies.
This is a totally different game with Adams and JJJ. The are missing both starting bigs. Adams might be the most physical guy in the league. And JJJ is an all-star whose 3.3 BPG would lead the league if he was qualified.
Fair point, Nate and Jason. But think about Darius especially – when he first came back from the eye injury it wasn’t just 7-footers rattling him with physical stuff. Basically EVERY game he was taking a shot from someone (typically in the face, or the hand, etc) that seemed to throw him off rhythm. Tonight he had that play where he took not one, not two, but three hard fouls with no call, drove right through it and laid the ball in with touch, and then chirped – NOT at the ref, but at the Grizzlies’ inbounder.
Memphis getting some payback for their bullshit is nice.
