#CavsRank! At number 7, it’s Terrell Brandon
2014-03-17Ben Cox of WFNY gives us a wonderful profile of one of the most underrated players in Cleveland history.
“Brandon (and his era of Cleveland basketball) is routinely overlooked. In fact, how little people knew of Brandon was one of the main takeaways from the famous Sports Illustrated piece.”

Higher than I would have put him but not a bad pick. The my imo it should go 1) AC 2) Price 3) LeBron 4)Daugherty 5) Nance. I Don’t see how you don’t hold Game 5 against him. He literally threw a game by way of effort or he choked harder than anyone I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a Boise State kicker miss 3 gimmees to either win or tie a game that woulda sent his team to a title game. I’ve seen the best closer in baseball fold like the French Army but NOTHING compares with game 5.… Read more »
I like this pick at #7. Brandon was a great player.
Terrell Brandon was aces, and the Cavs traded him at just the right time. He was, seriously, one of the nicest, most unassuming all-stars, ever. It was a shame that he was trapped on some of those Jailblazers teams (I’m remembering this right, aren’t I?).
Cory, Hot Rod was 11. AC goes in at 6, and then you’ve got it right.
Slam Magazine deemed Brandon and Phills one of the “best back courts” in the NBA back in the day…..RIP Bobby…one of my favorite alltime Cavaliers….
dan so true about Broussard the word ” LOYALTY ” is not in his vocabulary—I remember when Brandon was drafted a lot of fans were upset with embry on his pick –this is a thing that will last forever between fans and g.m.’s
The oddest thing in one of those articles linked was that Chris Broussard covered the Cavs for the Akron Beacon Journal? Really? Not that I paid attention to sportswriters back then, but CB always seems to bring the hate to Cleveland and maybe that is why he had the info on LBJ for the Decision…
Winging it that this is the remainder of the order:
6: Hot Rod Williams
4: Larry Nance
3: Brad Daugherty
2: Mark Price
1: Lebron James
