Podcast Episode 73: Free Agency 2015, the Summer of Money
2015-07-07https://soundcloud.com/ctb-5/podcast-episode-73-free-agency
While waiting for the Cavs to sign Tristan Thompson, Robert, Tom, and I hopped in the podcast booth to discuss the negotiations, Mo Gotti, the Haywood deal, Gerald Green’s missing finger, and the offseasons of the Cavs’ Eastern Conference rivals. Also, Tom rants on Reggie Jackson’s $80 million dollar contract. Enjoy.
You can listen above, on soundcloud, or on iTunes.
You know had Kyrie been healthy, trashing Delly wouldn’t even be on here. These questions came up on NBATV with Isiah Thomas on backup point guards. He said Dellavedova proved himself. You HAVE to have that kind of toughness in the Finals. Those other guys Mo, Stuckey , ect. simply do not have the physicality he has . Do you really think they could have lasted longer as starter in the Finals? Dellavedova took a beating and kept coming back. He believed an aged PG like Mo would have been hurt after the 2nd game of these Finals. He also… Read more »
Wow How soon we forget. You were all singing Delly’s praises about 3 weeks ago only to trash him in this podcast for 10 mins. Couldn’t listen anymore. This is suppose to be a happy time. Left disappointed in the going back to the old ways. Gee have you guys heard about the NBA’s new tracking for “hustle stats”? Delly gave them a lot to look at in the Finals to impress. A big reason for those taken for granted +/- points. They will be tracking deflects, charges and fighting for loose balls. How will Reggie, Stuckey and your preferred… Read more »
Classic podcast. Always an entertaining listen, guys. Tom, I am in total agreement with you on the absurdity of these deals. Tristan is not as valuable as Draymond for a variety of reasons. Draymond has excellent vision to make the right pass and he has a decent jumpshot threat. Tristan has neither. (Obviously he makes up for that with non stop hustle, rebounding, defense and (much) improved finishing inside). But, at the end of the day, TT is still undersized and can’t space the floor. And for goodness sake, he comes off the freaking bench. I get he’s still gonna… Read more »
OMG NATE!!!! The spurs will be a top 2 team in the west next year…they will get the benefit of someone ELSE knocking off the GS Warriors next season in the playoffs because the Warriors were sickeningly ridiculously lucky in the playoffs this year w regard to the injured teams they faced…and the spurs WILL play the Cavs in the Finals next year. No doubt in my mind. Honestly. I will put like $1000 on that if the spurs and cavs stay relatively healthy (aka not missing 2 or more starters after 2 rounds of playoffs). The whole seasons we… Read more »
I think the Spurs are the favorites in the West if they stay healthy. But they have an older roster, and that’s always the trick with an older roster. I think Aldridge will be insane on that team. (again, if they are mostly healthy)
Saying “I’ll bet $1000 on them if they can stay relatively healthy” is like saying, “I’ll bet $1000 on Donald Trump to be the Republican presidential nominee if he can avoid saying stupid things and pissing off a lot of people.” It’s an “if” that is bigger than Boris Diaw’s manbra.
If we can get ONE mention of Jimmy Butler as “Kawhi Leonard heavy” i will die a happy man. That made me laugh while running…which is hard to accomplish and not stop running.
yardbarker has a good article on the t.t. negotiations / ” pissing match ” —-pretty well sums up all of our feelings on this —-
I was wondering why Lou Williams only signed for $7MM and why the Cavs didn’t pursue him any harder. Hoopsrumors.com – “As much as the Raptors may end up missing Lou Williams‘ offensive game, the team is glad to have rid itself of the distractions that the guard brought to the squad, Steve Simmons of The Toronto Sun writes. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year agreed to a three-year, $21MM arrangement with the Lakers, and if Nick Young isn’t traded, which the Lakers are reportedly exploring doing, it will certainly make for an entertaining locker room in Los Angeles… Read more »
Guys, I was just thinking, you know who we could have really used in the finals? Andrew Wiggins. ……LOL. I kid, I kid.
I love TT’s hustle but how much can you pay a rebounder and a player of his caliber? I thought that 12 to 14 mil per year was ok but apparently it isn’t.
There’s no reason to rush to sign TT to a max this early or hastily open the bank vault. The Cavs can match any offer. I don’t see other teams climbing over each other to give $17 MM a year to an energy rebounder – albeit an extremely good one. It’s a negotiation. Both sides know what they’re doing and the market will determine what TT will be paid. He’ll be fairly compensated and he’ll be back. The Cavs don’t need to hamstring themselves like other teams by overpaying for players. Save a few million on TT and you can… Read more »
Exactly, I agree.
I agree and have been a bit irritated that TT is holding out for more $$. But it is also true that he has played in several hundred games in a row…or something like that. Very low injury risk and good team player.
It’s interesting to recall that bad tumble TT took in the playoffs, where he landed on his back/shoulder (and still made the basket!). He got right up and stomped away. Not many players could handle such a rough and dangerous fall so well. He is a very solid PF….though I wish he’d sign already!
I agree – I thought the cavs offer was solid.
Suns. Hmm. Markieff can play a little 3. PJ Tucker is solid.
On July 9th, when contracts can be official, if he’s not signed then we can’t start this talk of how Klutch/TT/Lebron are ruining CavsDans day.
I feel like Cols. Guys: We have minutes available for ONE player. Maybe 15-20 minutes, tops, to a guy who can give LBJ a breather or play when someone is in foul trouble. Stop getting upset everytime someone with talent signs with a different team. We can’t have a roster of 50. We have room for one person. And I’m assuming that Varejao can’t even play next year. Rotation: Moz, Love, Thompson, LBJ, Shump, Irving, Delly, Williams, and probably J.R. That’s nine guys. Whoever we sign has to be better than one of those guys. We have to keep Varejao… Read more »
Wesley Johnson signed a 1-year veteran’s minimum with the Clippers today. What are the Cavs doing?
Depth is the difference between the east and the west.
Agreed. Wesley Johnson would’ve helped us beat the Warriors this year. No Wesley Johnson, no Larry O’Brien. Maybe 2017.
Talented teams are also lacking.
You mean the Wesley Johnson who averaged 9 pts, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 30 minutes a game of garbage time with the Lakers last year? Saw him many times in person last year. Would not get off the bench for the Cavs…
Yeah, not to sound like cols, but Johnson sucks.
RIP Joe Johnson trade talks. We had a good run.
I don’t like any of the rumors coming from the Cavs. Amare Stoudemire?? Jamal Crawford?? Carlos Boozer ???????? What the F*&$??? We need youth, athleticism, energy on the wing. Not another season of washed up veterans at the end of the bench
And we have such GREAT assets to trade with, amiright? Late second round picks and a 10m contract!!! Everyone wants to give up young talent with lots of potential for that! WTF Griffin?
Pay scales are just so whacked right now with anyone who can kind of play and isn’t broken down getting a “max” deal.
So far no luck on landing those 26-30 year old players Griff was talking about.
Think about this – the following players are between 26 and 30:
Kevin Love, Lebron James, Timofey Mozgov, J.R. Smith.
These players are between 23 and 26:
Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumper, Tristan Thompson, Matthew Dellavadova, Joe Harris, Rakeem Christmas.
That is ten (10) players who are in their prime. And for all practical purposes, we’re going to have them for the next 3 to 6 years. We are STACKED. We are working to fill in the edges and maybe find one guy our of three or four late prospects each year to become a contributor. Chill.
You make some great points about the youth of the Cavs, Joey B. It’s definitely a good thing. However, Charlie E’s point was about Griffin’s public statements about what he was looking for in the offseason. So, the fact about the youth of the guys on the roster is irrelevant to the point about what Griffin’s statements were about offseason pick ups. I don’t think Charlie E was referring to anything else but Griffin’s comments on potential offseason pickups outside the current roster.
Wacky scenario: Lebron relaxing as he waits for TT to sign….and he sees that Cavs are thinking about 1) trading Andy and 2) bringing in Boozer!! Not exactly what you’d think would cheer him up!
Boozer seems like a bad idea. Not a good locker room presence. Can’t see how he fits in.
He is probably near the top of Cavs fan’s most “hated” players list. Hard to believe they would even consider bringing him in…plus he’s not very good anymore.
Boozer always seems like a bad idea. Bad News Boozer.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the rest of that mini midlevel spent on Alan Anderson. Can be a hot shooter at times (over 60% versus Hawks in playoffs), a solid defender at 6’6″. Could certainly have used him in the finals.
As if on cue…
Apparently a very good idea Nate….you’re GM material! Maybe Wash read your comment about Anderson and decided they’d better get him, j/k
IS REDICK SOMEONE THE CAVS SHOULD PURSUE ?
Clips aren’t letting him go anywhere.

Tell us how you really feel.
According to Amico Hoops, here is the Cavs Las Vegas Summer roster:
F Jerrelle Benimon;
F/C Rakeem Christmas;
G Quinn Cook;
F Eric Griffin;
G Joe Harris;
G Tyler Haws;
G Trevor Lacey;
G/F Sir’Dominic Pointer;
G D.J. Seeley;
F John Shurna;
G Keifer Sykes;
F D.J. White;
F Talib Zanna.
I can’t wait to see these guys. Love Summer League.
Sheridan hoops “sources” saying look to see Nick Young moved for Laker cap space to get Hibbert. Is he better, worse, or equal to J.R.? Worth trading the Haywood contract if we also get a second round pick?
He’s way worse than JR, imo. Stay. Far. Away.
Offensively, he’s not bad. Can’t rebound for crap, but he is a scorer. His defense is pretty poor, but is that system/focus related?
Does this answer your question?
Or this…
Or… why not just get the package set?
They are too valuable to the rest of the NBA as Lakers. They gotta stay there.
A YES FOR AMARE / BELIEVE HE HAS SOME ” LEFT IN THE TANK ” TO HELP ( MORE THAN THE MATRIX ) —A BIG NO FOR THE ” BOOZE CRUISE ” DRANK THAT POISON BEFORE !!—-THINK THE SO CALLED ” STORIED ” FRANCHISES ( CELTS / LAKERS ) ARE SIGNING PEOPLE JUST TO SAY THAT THEY SIGNED FREE AGENTS— NOT A WHOLE LOT OF SOUND REASONING BEHIND THEIR SIGNINGS
@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN sources say that the Boston Celtics have agreed to trade for David Lee
More PF for the Celtics!
Hahahaha.
They are team that has no idea what they are doing.
For Gerald Wallace
That’s a terrible move for the Warriors. Cheapening out on Lee to get a guy they will cut just to stay out of the tax for one year. Dumb dumb dumb dumb move.
I’m so sick of NBA owners acting cheap.
Who was giving them anything for Lee?
But why get rid of him at all? That’s the dumb move. Never sacrifice a title run. They got worse. For no good reason.
Chemistry. David Lee played the good soldier for one year, but it’s a lot to ask him to do it for two. You don’t screw up a locker room for a guy that barely plays. Saving $20+ million is gravy.
I would’ve at least given them the haywood cap relief for him.
Last time I checked there isn’t much market for a 18min/8 point/5 rebound player who defends pick and rolls as well as the San Diego Chicken.
San Diego Chicken has some hops, now.
Beautiful shot of the San Diego Chicken’s Pick and Roll Defense.
Charlie Villanueva @CVBelieve 1m1 minute ago
Just got off the phone with my agent @excelsm. I got some exciting news regarding my free agency! I’m going to announce shortly, stay tuned.
I know everyone is nervous!
If it involves him playing on the Cavs, then I am nervous that its true.
Back in Dallas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just see it on NBA TV, Charlie back in Dallas for veteran’s minimum and Aaron Brooks back to Chicago for 1 year.
Windy also believes that the Jazz are cooking something. He thinks the Cavs could be involved.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Like a Pot Luck Dinner?
Toast?
Crystal Methamphetamines?
Windhorst said today on the RBS that he believes that the Nets would do the deal of AV/BHC for Johnson if the Cavs also included the rights to Sasha Kaun. Windhorst isn’t sure the Cavs want to take on that contract though.
The Cavs will not let Sasha Kaun come between them and Joe Johnson.
The sticking point has to be the absurd joe Johnson contract.
Yeah. I listened to that. The take I got was that was on the table any time they wanted it.
I would think Johnson and Stoudamire would help…as long as they don’t log lots of minutes they could add a lot and fill some wholes.
holes….or wholes kinda works too
BHC and Andy for Joe Johnson is a great deal as long as Gilbert is willing to choke down that salary plus tax implications. Which I would not expect him to.
Geez. Nate. Andy is injury prone. He’ll be lucky to play 20-30 games this year.
Cols is getting angry at this podcast.
Nobody gives a ishh how you feel! You are and embarrassment to real Cavs fans, go jump off a bridge!
Again. The Cavs don’t need any more big men.
They’d only potentially need one if they wind up dealing AV in one of these deals…

This should be a interesting read ….
I commend Kyrie for saying what everyone was thinking.
Well, he’s right. Just one of Irving or Love and we win the title.
I saw a few games of Amare with the Mavs and he had solid games coming off da bench. I’ll rather him than Carlos Boozer anyday,
@VernThompsonNBA: The Cavs are among teams interested in signing Amare Stoudemire and Carlos Boozer.
I hope this is a joke!
Why? Amare would be great. Boozer too. No reason not to have real NBA players on the team. It makes it so we don’t need any of the 2nd round draft picks or Joe Harris play any minutes at all.
I don’t think those guys are real NBA players anymore. If we get 2008 Amare, sign me up though.
No thanks to Boozer. I’ll Boo Boozer if he’s on the Cavs! I hate that guy.
Amare wouldn’t be horrible, but Boozer is riddled with fork marks… I’m all for bringing back a guy like Mo who kinda got jammed when LBJ left, and still has something to offer. But Loozer is still the guy who figuratively sucker punched a blind man, so even if he didn’t resemble a shambling corpse on the floor for the Lakers last year, I still wouldn’t want that SOB back literally ever…
Like like like this comment! As would probably 98% or 99% of Cavs fans.
+1000000. Boozer sucks, and screw him, anyway.
This tweet about sums up my thoughts on Carlos Boozer.
The ony thing worse than the corpse of carlos boozer would be the corpse of carlos boozer wearing that crazy bigen hair system.

On the podcast you guys think the old Cavs 2009 squad has underrated talent? That’s nuts. That team had LeBron and pretty much nothing else but role players. This current team that made the Finals with LeBron and the role players would probably wipe the floor with that old team. And I’m talking without Kyrie and Love.
Yeesh. The love this blog has for that old Cavs team is nuts. They sucked without LeBron. Just awful.
LeBron, prime rebounder Andy, Z, four guys who shot at 40% or better from three, and seven guys who shot over 38% from three, but ok…
And then they lose LeBron and promtly win about 20 games. They sucked outside of LeBron.
LeBron, Shump, Smith, Mozgov and James Jones would destroy that team.
They lost a lot more than Lebron that year. Everyone forgets that. They completely blew up the team because it was built solely to complement Lebron.
They also lost Z, West, Green and Shaq. They were a team in the sense that they were greater then the sum of the individual parts. They also won 66 games so yeah.
HAHA
Yeah, losing Z and Shaw and Green? was the reason they lost all of those games
Right.
During the season they also lost Mo (trade), Andy (injured), and Boobie and Antwan Jamison combined to miss half a season due to injuries…
For anyone counting (Cols) that is a difference of 7 key players (including LeBron) from one year to the next.
But NOPE! Same exact team as the year before, minus LeBron!
You realize none of those guys, save possibly Moz, shoots as well as their 2009 counterparts, right?
Cols: on the 09-10 Cavs, LeBron won 61 games with “terrible” players. The 10-11 Heat won 58 games with three hall of famers. Care to explain that? “Taking time to gel” is not a valid excuse if you aren’t going to count the fact that the 10-11 Cavs roster was a shell of what it was the years before. Sounds to me like the 09-10 Cavs had players who complemented LeBron extremely well. Because, for as great as Dwayne Wade is as a singular talent, he wasn’t necessarily the ideal basketball player to pair with LeBron. It’s a team sport… Read more »
Um. The 09-10 Cavs won because LeBron is LeBron. The 10-11 Heat won because Wade was awesome that year and LeBron wasn’t quite LeBron, he was more of a normal superstar than LEBRON Pretty simple. That 09 team is trash outside of LeBron. People keep trying to make it out to be more than that because 1. It was an extremely fun team 2. It coincided with the best period of Cavs basketball since the early 1990s/late 1980s 3. It coincided a lot with the writers here growing up, a period of time that most people remember pretty fondly That… Read more »
The 2008-2009 team ran 10 deep in the playoffs. Went cold against Orlando, while the roided up Magic couldn’t miss. 66 wins in the regular season. Universally regarded as one of the greatest teams to not win a championship. Def. greatest team to miss the finals.
And LeBron left and they sucked.
Just because you grew up with that team does not mean they were special. It’s like people thinking the music they grew up with was the best ever.
Give it up. You sainted team was garbage outside of LeBron.
The current team would kill them without Irving or Love.
You realize that none of those guys shoots as well as their 2009 counterparts, right? And that the 2009 team defended better than this one?
*And LeBron and over half a dozen other players left and/or got injured and they sucked [there I edited it for you]
Cols, if you could give one, just ONE piece of analysis other than “player X sucked” or “team X would get killed by team Z” then people might not be so quick to jump all over everything you say…
Besides, liking the team has nothing to do with it. Just because you keep repeating that people suck doesn’t make it true.
Give it up. The 2008-10 Cavs were more talented than you will ever give them credit for. LeBron had his best years in Miami with two other HOFers and still never won more than more than 66 games. It’s not all LeBron, dude. The teams have something to do with it too. GEEZ.
Pretty sure Nate didn’t grow up with that team, for the record. And by the way, I grew up watching teams like the Miracle of Richfield and the late 80s Daugherty, Price, Harper, Hot Rod, Nance and Ehlo squads. None of them won 60 games, let alone 66. Just because they didn’t have a second all-star (outside of Mo in 2009), doesn’t mean they were terrible teams outside of LBJ…
Here’s a much more accurate assessment: The 09-10 Cavs won because LeBron was LeBron, they played championship defense, and fielded elite shooting and rebounding. See? More than just LeBron. You’re also conveniently excluding prime Mo Williams, Delonte, and Varejao as key losses. I’d take that “trash” over Shump/JR and TT. In fact, one of those guys made the All-Star team in 2009 (which is infinity times more than the three current counterparts combined). I also think most basketball fans would agree that Danny Green is not “terrible”. Losing 7+ impact players from one year to the next does not indicate… Read more »
The could lose all those guys, keep LeBron and still win 60 games.
Considering LeBron has won 60+ games just once since he played on those “awful” Cle teams…
Now you’re just being silly.
Z was the top center in the league. He totally dominated Yao Ming in the all star game.
So Korver had elbow surgery as well?
Man, that Delly is a dirty player. I don’t know how he did it, probably some Professor X stuff or something. Can we test Delly for Telekinesis?
That reputation alone should earn Delly $3M
How Gerald Green lost half a finger…

What they didn’t tell you was that the door was 12 feet high.
When I was a kid, a friend’s father told us how he had rode the rails to San Fran in the early 1900’s. He and another guy jumped out of a box car (for some reason) and the other guy’s ring got caught on a nail, and ripped his finger off. I have never worn a ring after hearing that. I did sport an earring in the 1960’s, which was pretty rad for those days. I discovered it is a hard row to hoe to try to keep up on being the rad-est; a new batch of kids comes along… Read more »
I couldn’t tell if it was a joke on the pod… obviously not. I laughed for about 5 minutes after hearing about this…
wow, amazing random story.
Good pod. Always funny and entertaining. With the Mo signing, I feel like the Cavs have reached a nice roster mix (assuming eventual signings of TT, Delly, JR, Jones). Anything they do here is gravy. The Haywood contract is still valuable as a trade exception. I hope the Cavs don’t force a bad-fit deal just to be able to say they got the full value. No reason to think the end of the bench can’t get run. Blatt is in year 2. I know due to the bad start he pressed (maybe more like Lebron pressed) into playing the stars… Read more »
He rarely played guys that many minutes in the regular season.
I love how much the Reggie Jackson deal bewilders Tom… LOL
Speaking of Reggie Jackson…
Great stuff guys!
Disagree a bit on the Bucks. Yes it was impressive that they beat out the Lakers and Knicks for Monroe, but he’s not a great defensive presence. And they didn’t do much else other than get Jabari back. They’ll be improved, but they don’t really scare me.
Really? They needed offense and they got some. With the guys he’s playing around, he doesn’t need to be a GREAT defender, just an adequate one – plus getting Jabari back, adding Greivous, and every one of those guys except Pachulia moving UP on the player development curve (which scares me more than anything)…? They still need one more shooter, but, yeah. They scare me.
They have no outside shooting. And I don’t believe in MCW. I think Monroe’s offense is overrated and he’s definitely not a great defender (he’ll be worse next to Jabari instead of Drummond next year).
Well, the MCW hate is a legit gripe. Another team that could desperately use Sergio Rodriguez.
Or at least the new Sergio Rodriguez who has aged like “a fine Spanish wine” and has grown a man beard… LOL
Maldita derecha. Which translated means, “damned right.”
Agree with all of this. ^^^ They want to get fast. Monroe ain’t one. And would you really put Parker at the four spot this early in his career? He’s essentially a small forward at this point let alone a sophomore. I can’t name a four on a playoff team that Parker can guard.
Ummm, Greg Monroe is a pretty sweet pickup. His offensive game is very solid, and I’m not sure why people are seeing him as some major defensive liability. Clearly not the best defender but not much of a liability. Obs the Cavs would kill the Bucks, but this is very nice move for them,
Paired with Parker on the front court?? Yeah he will be a major defensive liability.
Sure, Monroe and Parker don’t seem like a great defensive pairing, but when you think about the length the Bucks will have around the perimeter with MCW, Middleton, and The Greak Freak (who should be getting better), it gets a little scarier to me. Sub in John Henson for Monroe and you’ve got a nasty long team. If they get a switch-based defense down, they might be able to force some TOs and get some buckets that way.
Drummond covered up a lot of Monroe’s defensive deficiencies… he’ll be exposed by driving PGs and quick big men next season. Agree, he’ll definitely help on the offensive side, but he’s not an outside shooter (something the Bucks still desperately need). Yes, he was a good pickup, but he’s not a piece that gets them into the top 4 in the EC IMHO.
Per Zach Lowe about why Monroe could be considered an all-star: “Monroe is playing the best all-around ball of his career and deserves stronger All-Star consideration than he appears to have received. He has outplayed Drummond for the balance of the season, and he’s working harder than ever on defense — at both big-man positions. When Detroit took off without Josh Smith, we all (justifiably) focused on the power of positioning three shooters around a pick-and-roll — something Stan Van Gundy can do only when he sits one of the Drummond-Monroe combination. Detroit A.S. (After Smoove) has actually been at… Read more »
I think you’re kind of making my point for me… Monroe is not as good without someone like Drummond next to him on the floor…
The data that suggests Detroit was best with both on the floor doesn’t mean what you think it means (that Monroe is only an effective defender with Drummond).
I guess we’ll have to wait and see when the season starts. My belief is that Monroe will be an upgrade, but not a game-changer for the Bucks. After all, they lost in the playoffs because they couldn’t make a basket from the perimeter. Monroe doesn’t really change that. Not all that concerned about them just yet.
I think both sides of the argument are good points, and I’m not sure that they’re mutually exclusive. I think Monroe was a great pickup. I think it will improve their offense considerably. I think it could improve their outside shooting, just because of the attention Monroe will receive in the post on offense. Also, Jabari Parker is a great shooter, which should help. However, I think EG’s point about how the Bucks performed during the playoffs with respect to their outside shooting is important. It’s clear they lack multiple outside weapons, and Dudley leaving doesn’t help that. I actually… Read more »
After checking out a couple other blogs to gauge the general fanbase consensuses after all these moves, I’m all the more thankful for the content you guys put out. I know it’s easier when there’s more interesting possibilities to talk about and guys who are probably going to help win playoff series, but I would read you guys all the time during the Gumdrop Bennett era, and it’s nice to always get an upbeat, fun, but level headed take on the team. Thanks, man!
Let me second that. This is a great blog…and I’ve also followed it for a long time. And no commercials!!!!
Bucks also added Grievis Vasquez.
Had one of the best off seasons, definitely.
Hawks also added Tim Hardaway Jr.
Losing Carroll, my opinion they got worse. Needed him to guard opponent’s best player.
It’s never really a move upwards when you trade for a shooter that can’t shoot (Hardaway).
Yeah we covered that later on Vazquez, and yeah, Tim Hardaway Jr. does not impress me. ESPN used to have a nice free agency tracker, but they don’t anymore.
Wasn’t able to listen to the podcast. :(
I like the Bucks offseason in general mainly because of potential but they’re still a first round exit to me.
Monroe contradicts a fast pace team they’re trying to be, as he is a half-court back to the basket guy.
Don’t get fooled by length and athleticism, that starting front court of Parker – Monroe sucks on defense.
Their projected starting lineup doesn’t provide enough outside shooting/spacing.
They lack veteran smarts ON-court.
Try again, and email me if you have issues. More than happy to help.
Haha no problem on connections man, I’m just too busy dealing with some work so can’t listen right now. Thanks anyway appreciate it!
