2016-01-02The surprisingly feisty Orlando Magic (19-14) are in town to take on the 21-9 Cavs. Orlando will be looking to avenge an 111-76 thumping that happened on Dec. 12th. Iman made his debut that night and has been solid ever since. Despite only shooting 40% from the floor, Iman’s three-point shot is a just under that. And his defense has been key to Cleveland’s recent defensive ascendency.
For Orlando, their recent improvement (10-5 in December) has been tied to making Nikola Vucevic a centerpiece of their offense. In December, Nik averaged 19.4 points a game, nine rebounds, 3.5 assists, .7 blocks, and .9 steals to go with 55% shooting from the field and a 22.6 PER.
Otherwise they spread the scoring around five double digit scorers: Vucevic, Fournier, Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo, and Elfrid Payton. Cleveland will have to not overload too heavily to any one player.
Offensively, let’s hope LeBron’s hot shooting from Denver continues, and that we have a fully operational Kyrie Irving. Go Cavs!

Why is he making the same amount of money as TT. If TT’s contract was fair then everyone should have known that Green would be a steal at the max. Basically any borderline All-star was a max player last summer

Whats going to be extra special is when the Lakers give GS a run on Tuesday. They Travel to Charlotte monday than fly all the way back to LA. If they stay nicked up they’ll be pretty exhausted for that game. I’m rooting for them to break the Bulls record because it will be more fun when we destroy them in June but they are allowed to get nicked up along the way
Cavs on;y shot 41 and 32 tonight. Once we start hitting our shots the league is in trouble
My two best things about tonight’s game:
–The Cavs finally jumped on an inferior opponent from the start and gave them no hope.
–Kyrie’s floor game looks like it’s just about back to 100%. He had a few of those drives where he changes direction 4 or 5 times on his way to the hoop, and looked strong and in control. Now he just needs the shot to come around.
