Looking forward to hearing this over the weekend! For now, a random follow-up on the season… So Kevin Love had a rough playoffs, eh? Here were his stats… – 14.7 points on 12.0 shots a game – 41% from 3 and most 3’s made by any forward or center in the playoffs (5th most overall) – 84% from the line – 8.8 rebounds a game and 2+ assists – Played lock-down defense on Steph Curry that succeeded in arguably the most important defensive possession of the season for any team – Played through a concussion in 5 games in the… Read more »
Someone is going to think you are serious. lol Griffin and Lue just recently came out they were not parting away from Kevin Love.
I understand you’re joking, but Ainge isn’t trading Crowder for anyone but Anthony Davis, KAT, or MAYBE Curry or Lebron. The last two are very iffy due to their ages.
Good stuff! Thanks!
Tom, these Spurs fans def listen to Skip Bayless. LoL It was word by word what that one person said about Kyrie as MVP.
hah! Those weren’t the Spurs fans (Mark and Tom). That was someone new. Felt bad but I had to get that weak stuff outta here.
I don’t see Love getting traded at all. Who is better out there? Love came up BIG in Toronto series when TT struggled. He will continue to get better. He has already improved from a year ago.
Agree, I also think moving any major pieces right now might be a mistake. The effect of winning a championship on this group of teammates is likely to change a lot of things. I think Love will play with a level of freedom next year that we haven’t seen. And I think it’s recognised that GSW is a bad matchup team for Love, whereas he can damage a lot of other teams – particularly those in the East. You gotta get the finals first….
Hour 1 was really really good!! Now about to listen to Hour 2
James Jones look like Joe Cool up there. He was extremely polite and nice to everyone. He was more than happy to sign autographs.
Sorry guys. I compressed this one too much. It really got pixeled.
Better?
Oh brother! Too bad I can’t edit & delete. Camera pics from the mobile phones to here really come out much nicer. My camera to here not so much , even if I compress or resize. Lesson learned.
Delly was very sociable. He shook everyone’s hands, said Hello. People chanted, “Delly, Delly”
Jim Brown in the house
I’m still trying to find out what size I need to download from my camera. to this site. The pics are kinda blurry on here.
Here are some more pics.
Great pics!
What is Kyrie’s stats in game winning shots?? Walk off or with any time left. I can’t even remember him missing one. I bet he’s 10/10 in his career so far. There might be an argument he’s better than Kobe statistically in crunch time. Being clutch is so natural for him. That’s why you never trade a player like that. Never. Ever.
Kobe was one of the worst clutch shooters ever.
True. The player himself and fans only remember the shots that they make. Early in his career, Melo used to be clutch.
Well that’s true. But media + his willingness to take the last shot (which I give him credit for) = reputation.
With all the talk about various players ‘legacies’ (and brother, am I tired of the word ‘legacy’ in the context of athletes…), Kobe left us with the worst possible legacy: the Kobe Fan.
Well his Shot in this game came with 53 seconds left and the game tied.
NBA.com has his Less than 1 minutes, Tied or down by 5 or Less:
2016 Playoffs: 1/1 (The shot)
2016 Reg season: 1/3
2015 Playoffs: 0/1
2015 Reg Season: 4/7
2014 Reg Season: 8/23
2013 Reg Season: 12/25
2012 Reg Season: 4/11
Thanks Nate. I remember those 2015 reg season ones….reckon the Spurs do too :)
