Live Thread: Cavs @ Kings
2017-12-27It’s a late one for us East Coasters (or at least Eastern Time Zoners) as the Cavs take on the struggling Kings who are coming off a drubbing Tuesday from the Clippers. This matchup has trap game potential with the Cavs scheduled to a take a Napa Valley “mini-vacation” after tonight. Cleveland sports the same lineup they faced Golden State with: no Shumpert, Rose, or Thomas. is missing the little used Harry Giles and De’Aaron Fox, who suffered a partially torn right quad against Minnesota on the 14th.
The question for the Cavs will be, how much do they want to get one back in the win column versus how much do they want to start their vacation early? Hopefully, they’re all about professionalism as they take on the 11-22 Kings. Sacramento will look to run, as they don’t have anyone who averages over 27 minutes a night. Last game Buddy Hield and Frank Mason Jr. burned the Cleveland, so I’m sure we’ll see a good effort from them tonight.
Prediction: Cavs knock out the Kings early in the third and we see an extended run for the bench. Tristan Thompson looks to show out on whatever lineup he’s on, to quiet the rumblings about his ineffectiveness… He throws up a double/double and the Cavs win 118-98.
Did the Nets just jump from 10th to 7th?!
The best 15-20 minutes of my life were spent not watching the last five minutes of that goatrope. If the Cabs don’t GAS, not sure why anyone else is expected to.
I quit watching after the 3rd quarter.
109 points allowed to the freaking Kings. 24 to a 40 year old. Just unnaceptable.
It sucks to stay up late to watch the Cavs lose to these scrubs.
Time to change our coach.
