David Kahn is Upset
2011-05-18David Kahn, whose Minnesota T-Wolves had a 25% chance of winning the number one pick, is calling conspiracy:
“This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines. Last year it was Abe Pollin’s widow and this year it was a 14-year-old boy and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar mitzvahed. We were done. I told Kevin: ‘We’re toast.’ This is not happening for us and I was right.”
I, on the other hand, absolutely believe he meant everything he said. I also think he was completely correct. I believe the drafts are fixed to move talent around the league and bring in more profits. Yes, I’m one of the conspiracy loonies lol.
I’m being sorta facetious. I think it’s pretty clear Kahn was kidding, too.
Agreed. In context he was clearly joking.
That hardly seems fair. Almost every other outlet reported his comments as sarcastic, not angry…
