From Distance: Vlogging Delly’s Jumper

1. I get my living room jump shot going in this edition of Cavs: the Vlog. Mathew Dellavedova has remade his jumper. It is a success thus far. Yay
2. Australia is big in general. How did I forget to include them in the list of teams with real size? I love me some Aron Baynes.
3. Team USA blew the doors off of Japan. Good. And so are cookies. We will see whether that win had the nutritious value of an oatmeal, no sugar added, treat, or of an old-fashioned chocolate chip cookie. Hard to know quite yet.
4. I was glad to see Giannis on full display after his country’s frustrating loss to Anderson Varejao and Brazil. Giannis dominated New Zealand like he should. Maybe any team without the middle-aged Freak Stopper, Alex Garcia, is doomed against the MVP. Who knows.
All I know is that I LOVED watching Andy kill it on both ends of the floor. I wrote about it last week, and Wild Thing delivered. Probably my favorite player ever.

The Cleveland Browns – “They are who we thought they were”
They got a lot to figure out. Not sure their O line will allow them to be what they could have been. Trading Tretter was likely a mistake. D was bad. Coaching was bad. Seemed way under prepared. Kitchens was a gamble. Hopefully they get out together. Otherwise will be a pretty bad year for Cleveland sports.
Yeah they seemed really unprepared. Which is unacceptable. I’m not sure Kitchens is the guy for this team.
I feel so bad for Jimmy Haslam and the entire Pilot J organization
Delly shot looks smooth. I am a bit skeptical about whether they can be a playoff team just based around their defense and defensive personnel. Offensively they could be ok or above average. I just don’t see how they will improve defensively though.
Ah yes Benedict Varejao. I don’t think I’m ready to re-join team Andy just yet.

Was balling in my Varejao Brazil jersey this week and last. I didn’t have the heart to get Delly’s jersey sweaty. But I think it might be a necessity now.
