Live Thread: Cavs vs Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro
2019-10-07The Cavs take on a vet laden team from Buenos Aires tonight, led by DePaul’s Dar Tucker (SG, 19 PPG), and Wyoming’s Justin Williams (F/C, 9 RPG). Another name you might remember, 37-year-old Joel Anthony comes off the bench for them at center. The Cavs should be able to take this team, but a veteren squad against a bunch of young guys who may not care all that much is always dangerous. Make no mistake, that any of would love to get noticed by scouts to get a better gig.
Nicolas Aguirre (PG), Marcos Matta (SF), young Jose Vildoza (SG), and Luciano Gonzalez (G/F) join Tucker in the starting lineup that features no one over six-seven. No word if the NBA is making these guys get measured without their shoes on.
For the Cavs, as of Sunday Night, Beilein hasn’t named starters, but has said that Garland will play. The rest of the squad looks available, save DylanWindler who’s recovering from a stress reaction in his leg.

Excited about Garland. That shot is no joke. Defense will be horrible but nothing is more important than shooting. That fellow can shoot.
