Live Thread: Cavs @ Wizards
2019-11-08No news on the game tonight. We debated whether we should post a live thread at all in light of our earlier post today which lamented the passing of our friend and fellow writer, Cory Hughey. Ultimately, we decided that Cory would have wanted us to enjoy the game and each others’ company. He believed believed in sports’ ability to unite us and loved to share the experience with other people.
Cory Loved Collin Sexton and was the earliest person in the CtB and Cavs Twitter community to openly pull for Collin to end up on the Cavs. He also loved every member of the 2016 team. For that reason, I hope Delly, TT, Kev, and Collin have a monster nights and embarrass former Cav Isaiah Thomas.
Don’t be sad tonight, folks. Crack a smile and a beer. Enjoy the game with someone you love and cheer on the team. Go Cavs.
Gonna have to catch this one on replay. Seems like this team is a lot more fun than last year. Thank you K love.

First game I watched the team this season. I brought good luck. It was nice hanging with you guys during the game. I don’t have a chance to do this often between my new job and my daughter. Really happy when I get a chance to.
