Live Thread: Cavs @ Raptors
2019-12-31Whoo buddy. Cavs spending the last night of the decade (depending on how you count) in Toronto, a city where their youngest players are legally allowed to tip a few back after the game. Cleveland touts a healthy roster, save Dylan Windler, while, Toronto is missing Marc Gasol (hamstring), Paskal Siakam (groin), Matt Thomas (finger), Dewan Hernandez (ankle), and Normal Powell (shoulder). Despite the injuries, Toronto remains competitive. Still, the’ve lost three of the last four, and I’m sure they’d love a get right game against the Cavs.
Toronto posts the backcourt that that the Cavs should emulate in VanVleet and Lowry as they average almost 38, but with Powell out, Toronto will be depending on Ibaka and Anunoby to to pick up the scoring slack. Cleveland should look to pull Ibaka out of the paint with Love, and dominate inside with Thompson (audition game) and Henson. The Cavs young guards will have to provide some offense and at least a little bit of defense to have a chance. Should be a fun one! Have a great 2020, everyone, and Go Cavs.

Not perfect, but this is a good strog start for the Cavs.
TOs still a problem, but if they can string some clean offese and tough defense together for a couple good bursts they can really have a chance.
