2020-01-11The Cavs are without Exum again who’s still out with the flu. He Joins Windler, Nance, and Kevin Porter Junior on the DL as the Wine an travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. Paul Millsap is out for the Nuggets who’ve won 11 of the last 14. Jokic naturally runs the show for Denver, averaging 19/10/6 while Will Barton kills it for 15/7/4. I fully expect Cleveland to get waxed. While you’re waiting for the game to start, turn it over to ABC om demand for the Jeopardy: the Greatest of All time tourney with Ken Jennings, James Holzhauer, and Brad Rutter. It’s being played at such a high level it makes the way the Cavs play basketball look like it’s being done by grade schoolers. Go Alec, and go Cavs.
I am bullish on Garland. Bearish on YB, but last game was better. He has to be a more willing passer. When you hog it, it brings everyone down. Especially bigs. When you run down court & pin a smaller guy, it takes a lot of energy. When you do it & the ball does not come, you start to think, “what am I busting my rear for?” Then that trickles into other areas. Rebounding. Rotations. The opposite happens when the ball does come.
