Tristan Thompson was phenomenal on the court, in the huddle, in the post-game interview… just everywhere. His fingerprints were all over the most exciting win of the season so far as the Cavs came back on the Pistons multiple times in the fourth quarter. Tristan Thompson had the highest scoring game of his career with 35 points and 14 rebounds to boot. TT used that poutine push shot to go 15-20 from the field, and then a huge 5-6 from the line (including 4-4 in crunch time and OT) in a whopping 45 minutes. He countered Andre Drummond who also had a huge night with 28 and 23 boards. Also exciting was Darius Garland who led a bench unit that was balling in the early fourth as he put up 20/2/7 and had a stretch of three straight dimes to get Cleveland rolling.

It was an exciting final seven minutes and a MUCH needed victory as TT, Garland, Sexton, Love, and McKinnie had huge moments down the stretch. Nate Smith and David Wood got in the podcast booth to break down the game and the state of the Cavs as a whole. We went over TT’s monster night, Beilein outcoaching Dwane Casey, the slugs/thugs debacle, Andre Drummond, “yay” or “nay?”, who should be in the all star game, what it’s like to get cooking appliances for Christmas, and our favorite topic, the infuriating Collin Sexton.
