2020-02-21Welcome back, Cavs fans. Cleveland returns from their All-Star break with a new coach and, hopefully, a new attitude. Expect the Cavs to come out looking to make a post Beilein statement. For the Cleveland, Ante Zizic is probable, while Alfonzo McKinnie is out tonight. Doubt ZZ plays much though. As for the Wiz, only Wall is listed on the DL. Let’s hope the Cavs channel their inner Patti Labelle. I’m predicting a 118—114 win to kick off the Bickerstaff era.

Strange win — went from awful team that doesn’t try to merely awful team. KPJ looked uncharacteristically out of control all game. And with the Cavs averaging the most turnovers in the league, I can’t believe John Beilein had the gall to try to teach the importance of details.
Zion is gonna be great, but he really needs to get his free throws down. He’s going to be fouled a lot.
The Lakers are going to waive Cousins (reportedly) to sign Kief Morris.
Do not know if he can play this year, and he is on a 1 year deal, but we do have open roster spots, yes?

Bickerstaff had the guts to keep Love and Drummond on the bench…. and thankfully KPJ took himself out of the game LMFAOOO

Complained about calls too much, replay showed he clearly swore at the ref.

yeah, none of the calls he complained about were all that controversial IMO… and he clearly cost the Cavs at least one basket by not getting back on defense. He doesn’t have that kind of clout to be pulling that crap.
Garland, Cedi, and TT won this game for the Cavs… honorable mention to Sexton’s 2nd half and LNJ.
I couldn’t watch till late 3rd, but TT looked great…
played smart and hard, which is more than i can say for Drummond.
Exum had a nice little spurt in there as well.

Indeed. Reward for effort, but it must to be noted how awful Washington were.
Guys need benched when they give poor effort. Period. That is building a culture.
An off night with good effort will happen. Young guys making dumb plays can (hopefully) be corrected.
Plus, it is not like anyone on this team is so good we have to have them out there. If a guy does not have it, for whatever reason, next man up.
Credit to Bickerstaff for benching Love and Drummond… huge decision that paid off.
BTW, totally fine with Drummond & Love watching the end of this one.

My hope is with Drummond here and Beilein gone, he takes his head out of his @$$ & starts to actually play.
