Im sure most of you guys have read the ‘James is the point guard’, says Kyrie article.
My question is do you think its a matter of Steve Nash, or Kyrie maturing, or maybe a team discussion? I feel its a weird thing for him to say, but I also feel like that’s the only way that team will work. Granted, Kyrie will handle plenty of PG duty, but Harden is (and has been) suuuch a good passer. I dont know whether Im proud of Kyrie or side-eyeing him. lol

that’s why he said it LMFAOOO… but him accepting a role is great, and why I believe they can win it all. Also, I think Nash has been lowkey good, and a perfect coach for them.
Harden’s passing is elite of the elite…. them using his passing ability will optimize both Kyrie and KD’s shot making.
Agree but I do find it funny watching Kyrie standing around with his hands out. Not the way he was raised. If he wants another chip, he has to adopt this position (and this time with hopefully minimal bitching).
I really want to see them against the Lakers or Clippers, that Clips Nets game was so damn fun to watch.
Kyrie is not a PG in the traditional sense. He’s a scorer at heart. Harden is a better, and more willing passer. Plus, Harden is almost totally worthless off-ball (he just stands around). Kyrie is not great, but is better.
Now, Kyrie can be all about “Mamba mentality” and getting buckets.

My opinion on Okoro is that he was the wrong pick, not because he won’t be a good player, but because what the team lacked most was offensive creation… and that’s what’s playing out now.
I also think Vassell was the choice over Okoro if we were going to go with a 3 and D guy, but also we’ve done no favors to Okoro throwing him out to the wolves with terrible coaching. Vassell got acclimated quickly playing with smart vets off the bench.
There was no way we were going to take another PG/SG after taking Sexton & Garland the last two years. We have LNJ & Love at the 4. Our only real choices were a SF or a C.
I am not calling anyone a bust after 30 games.
The real issue isn’t Ice, it is that Sexland does not work.

watched the Youtube condensed version of this game…this is starting to be embarrassing if it hasn’t been already…team is completely gone…regression across the board in matter of a month…drummond is completely out…allen got abused by enes kanter on the boards…garland only scoring points when team is down 30….wonder if JB finishes this season…i find it hard to believe the Cavs wont make any further moves this year….this is going back to 2010 days where everyone quit and team lost 26 straight.
Hey we all knew it could be a rough road trip, and that was before LNJ went down.
Folk on this blog were actually talking playoffs a few weeks ago. Let’s also not forget that the biggest (and most expensive) weapon KLove is out but due back soon. His return changes the team dynamic significantly.
JB should be judged at the end of the season, all things considered.
Agreed but losing a team like this sure doesn’t look good. Lots of teams struggle with injuries but we are just flat out in a downward spiral. Hopefully, once Love gets back before the ASB we can string together a few good wins and then heal up and have a decent 2nd half of the year.
Something is seriously wrong with the coaching when Windler and DG stare at wide open 3s and can’t decide whether it’s a good shot or not.
JB needs to go…. give the job Gottlieb, she can’t be any worse.

Okoro: pretty hard for a rookie of any ilk to progress on a team that is getting wailed on like this. I think he did ok against uber-level offensive talent in Lillard.
