2021-03-01#Cavs J.B. Bickerstaff said his expectation is for Cedi Osman to play tonight. Osman was listed on the injury report with low back spasms. He went through shootaround this morning.

From what I gather, Oladipo and Wall are playing and Gordon, Kurucs, and Wood are out. Same starting lineup for Cleveland . Should be an interesting one. Let’s see if they can win four straight. Go Cavs!
Crafty move from DG

Sabonis (can we call him the Boner?) questionable with an ankle. I think they should rest him.
In honor of the late Andrew Koenig, we should call him Boner Sabone.
Cavs win if Sabonis sits.
Holy cow. Watched the replay. Glad we got a win, but that was one of the sloppiest games I have ever seen by both teams. Cavs: Out of control, sloppy, frantic, chickens with heads cut off, disjointed. Rockets: Woeful, desperate, frantic, cranky, out of control. Lots of mistakes, lots of desperate sloppy passes. Lots of driving into bad situations. Cavs calmed it down and were more focused down the stretch. Still had some bad tovs though. McGee and Allen made a difference on the interior. Sexton had some really nice assists and made some shots. Garland was just off. Cedi… Read more »
Caught first half live then saw rest via highlights on Youtube. The turnovers at end of first half were so laughingly bad, it looked like Cavs reverted back to their dumb ways of playing basketball. Fortunately, the regrouped and pulled away in 4th for another win. Weird how Rockets are this bad but they don’t really run much of an offense and its mostly Wall and Oladipo doing the scoring….not really sustainable. Big game coming up against Pacers who crushed the Cavs last time they played. Im not really sure what to make of this team still, but maybe the… Read more »
IMO everyone’s looking up at Brooklyn. Milwaukee with an outside chance, but who can trust them?
If BRK doesn’t pick up a competent big man then the Philly/BRK matchup is going to be interesting if it happens. Philly really has a favorable matchup with none of BRK, Boston, Toronto, NY or Charlotte having a Center who can be physical with Embiid at all.
Philly’s the only other team I’d include, but they don’t have a perimeter creator that can space the floor. Also Seth Curry post-COVID has not been good, and it may never get better.
I wouldn’t worry about Curry, he has a few months to get his legs/lungs back. There are also options on the trade market to fill that perimeter creator role, they don’t need an all star there, just a functional guy who can also catch and shoot. Delong Wright, George Hill, Ricky Rubio are unlikely to be expensive options here and with their size they could pick up the undersized water-bug types in the G-league or give IT a chance at the roster without killing their D.
