hilarious to see from Cavs media day the players/coaches ‘tired of losing’ haha…ya think? only took them 4 years to realize that…its playoffs or bust here….NBA parity is much bigger now and with expansion of ‘play in’ – really no excuses.
LMFAOOO they’re not even tired of losing!!! Fedor has published at least three reports saying Mobley’s gonna start, they have no intention of winning this year.
Hope so. It would be insane to try to win ASAP instead of building up team strength to contender level.
Actually, when a team’s talent level gets down to zero, perhaps by extending a multi year playoff run, it takes a few years to build up a talented core to be able to compete again.
BUCKAROOO—-I AM STILL DOING A “CLF ‘ —–WOW
NOMAD bro.. you live on a farm.. it’s just biology.. you, me, the cows and the sows.. and beer.. by the way, what is a “CLF”.. i have often wondered..
LMFAOOOo this is a funny quote
https://twitter.com/ChrisFedor/status/1443327233125400580?s=20
dude was literally signed to be 3rd pg and veteran presence and maybe he was trolling and being goofy but yeesh lets hope he was.
I think he was being honest!!! LMFAOOO just funny that the extent of his conversations with the team was ” wanna sign with us? OK!”
BE HONEST NOW —HOW MANY OF YOU “BALLERS ” DID THE SHOOTING DRILL —LAYING IN BED AND SHOOTING WITH YOUR SHOOTING HAND TOWARD THE CEILING —EXTENDING THE ARM AND HOLDING THE FOLLOW THRU —THEN CATCHING THE BALL ON YOUR FINGERTIPS …..DROVE MY POOR MOM TO ………” MORE BEER PLEASE ” AND PUT THAT DAMN BALL AWAY !!!!!!
Yup and against the garage door outside!!!! Lmfaooooooo
NOMAD bro.. i never played with a basketball in bed during the teenage years, but i was pretty good at holding the penthouse mag in one hand.. and rosie in the other.. and i shot pretty well in those days.. good pressure in the pipes..
Gross
Never did. The “touch” (high soft jumper) came to me at about age 14 and stayed until my knees got upgraded to titanium. OTOH, I often would take 100 left handed shots, and I never got good at it, other than an occasional tip-in.
Nate, you celebrate the Jordan Clarkson experience NOW……
Brenden Haywood on Ben Simmons:
https://thesportsrush.com/nba-news-i-think-ben-simmons-could-be-among-the-likes-of-lebron-james-and-michael-jordan-if-he-tried-nba-insider-reveals-his-very-controversial-opinion-on-the-76ers-star-as-his-offseason-fiasco/
I think Mobley’s shot looks great, just hope he shoots the damn shot with confidence when it’s go time
AGAIN AGREE WITH YOU NATE —-THAT WOULD ALSO PROMOTE A SMOOTHER // HIGHER SHOT WITH A MORE SOLID FOLLOW THRU ——–THE LEAST AMOUNT OF MOVEMENTS// THE MORE CONSITENT// ACCURATE THE SHOT WILL BE
AGREE NATE —HE NEEDS TO NOT BRING THE BALL DOWN —JUST CATCH AT THE WAIST AND GO UP——-AM SURE RIGHT NOW THAT IS A TIMING MECHANISM FOR HIM—–WILL NEED TO WORK ON CORRECTING IT
I prefer ideal catch anywhere from diaghram to chin.
young players usually need to learn to not bring the ball down

HOPE YOU ARE CORRECT CLF——EVERYTHING IS ‘ROSY” POSITIVE AT THE START OF ANY SEASON / SPORT—–LET’S SEE IF THE SAME POSITIVE VIBES ARE STILL THERE COME LATE JANUARY–EARLY FEBRUARY—-HELL BOTH JB AND KLOVE MIGHT BOTH BE GONE BY THEN “DRINKING WINE WITH BLATT ” :-)
LMFAOOOOO you’re absolutely right!!!!
right
speaking of KLOVE, some good stuff in here about Love and JB’s relationship here… both said the right things, hopefully they were being sincere!!!

meh, easy to talk the talk this time of year. I don’t think they would have pursued Lauri if they honestly believed Kevin could be (willing to be) a Super Sub / Strong Mentor. I see the Kevin Love situation playing out ranked most likely to least likely: Looks mostly washed and is given the Blake Griffin / Andre Drummond treatment Minor injury keeps him in street clothes for 75% of season (status quo) He embraces his role and provides useful 12-18 minutes a night As a fan, I am expecting the worst and any contribution > 0 will be… Read more »
WE “EXPERIMENTED ” FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS GROWING ABOUT 400 ACRES OF HOPS ON OUR FARM——VERY LABOR INTENSE —-I HAVE AN EVEN A DEEPER RESPECT // REVERENCE FOR THE BEER MAKING PROCESS —I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A ‘DISTATE ‘ FOR WASTING BEER IT NOWS GROWS DEEPER ——–‘ I DRINK BEER BECAUSE I DON’T LIKE TO KEEP THINGS BOTTLED UP …..AND I ONLY DRINK ON DAYS THAT END IN “Y ” …………….” MORE BEER PLEASE ” :-)
+1
As much as I am over Kevin. It feels like a disservice to all to not start him there.
yup agreed… or at least it should be Love and Markkanen competing to start instead of handing the job to Mobley.
You’re put of the hop business? Bummer.
Does anyone else think a frontcourt of Okoro, Mobley, and Allen makes zero sense? No spacing at all.
Plus, that would mean the 2nd unit is: Rubio, Windler, Cedi, Markannen, & Love. No defense at all outside of Rubio.
Both units unbalanced. And no proben NBA guys behind them (Pagnos, Stevens, Wade, + ???).
Wouldn’t it make a ton more sense to start Love or Markannen to get some frontcourt spacing on unit 1 and some rim protection on unit 2?
Makes too much sense, but I guess JB wants to see disaster first!!! LMFAOOO
I’m only about half way through at this point, but I hope the opportunity for ‘long in the tooth’ jokes is not wasted…
LMFAOOOOOOO dammit that’s gold!!
On Ben Simmons: The Sixers have no particular leverage because at this point, his value to them is essentially zero — a guy who won’t play. So, the only way to get reasonable value for him is to get at least 2 teams bidding against each other. So Philly has to get things started somehow with a critical mass of interested teams ready to jump in.
yup, good point Charlie, Morey trying to work something for sure.
They don’t have leverage, but I don’t think Morey blinks. He’ll ride it out, at least until ownership forces his hand.
Nate, would love to see a whole line of Douglas Adams themed beers… I’ll pitch “So Long and Thanks for All the Kolsch”.
oooh that’s a good line!!! love it1
Used to get kits all the time from Grape and Granery. I went almost a whole year on nothing but my own home brews, and then never brewed again after, lol. Mostly because I’ve been living in apartments the last six years. Just bought a house in Akron and moving back up from Florida next month. Time to get back in to the game.
hey congrats on the house in Akron!!!
Thanks!
And amen to your “20 minute rant”.
obviously, cavs sgould have drafted michael porter jr.. just signed a $205 mill max deal.. however, cav-nots were in kolby-induced (at least partially) suck-a-thon, and couldn’t “waste” a pick on a dude who is now maxing a good team.. i go back to a point i have made several times, the anthony bennett nightmare (and others like them in pro sports, have ramifications for decades, if not forever.. the dominos would have fallen differently.. we would be on a different time-line (i love the idea of the multi-verse).. which is why any organization, in any area of endeavor, needs to… Read more »
They were scared off by his injury history. Scared of another whiff. But I thought it was a decent bet on franchise level talent at that spit (8). Plus, he was gonna miss a ton of time the first year, so he helps drive a tank the next draft.
Anywho, I can distictly remember wanting us to take him. Or trade up for Luka/Young.
there were a few CtBers that called that pick!!! I wanna say NOMAD and Simmo were about it.
right. the Browns will go 0-17 this year because they drafted Brandon Weedon and Johnny Manziel a decade ago.
it’s a declining exponential function, but it extends to infinity.. when the cavs clean house and send the joke front office home i will consider that perhaps the karmic worm has turned.. also, it seems that the browns were consistent jokes for almost 20 (TWENTY !!!) years.. no small feat, but when idiots abound, even the impossible seems within reach.. lastly, where would you place anthony bennett in the hall of immortal shame ? that was not a small oops..
Is it wrong to hope Kyrie gets COVID, gives it to a bunch of his teammates, and the Nets fail to win the title because he’s such a dumbass?
Lol. Yes, but no one here is going to hold that against you.
It sucks, he was honestly my favorite Cavs player to watch, at least from an entertainment perspective. But that deflated so fast after the flat-earther crap. Being different does not equal to being interesting you wackadoo.
He seems like a moody teenager or college freshmen that thinks having a contrarian attitude is cool, but actually it just really annoying to everyone with any maturity whatsoever. He appears to be the definition of arrested development as far as social maturity.
Yep. Someone needs to hook him up with Kareem’s number… smart, interesting, thoughtful dude. Get him to talk some sense in to him.
Agree. Kareem is a totally smart and learned dude. Absolute expert on Jazz and other topics. Not afraid to speak up, and does so in a dignified manner.
Kareem is the GOAT. 6 MVPs. 6 Titles. 10 Finals Appearances. Finals MVPs 14 YEARS APART (1971 & 1985). All time leading scorer. Oh, and not 1, not 2, but 3 national titles (& Player of the Year & Final Four MVP awards) after spending 4 years at UCLA. He’d also be the leader in blocks if it was kept his whole career (though Russell/Wilt can make the same claim).
Plus, he appeared in Bruce Lee movies and Airplane!
Not sure why we’re throwing teenagers or college freshman (pretty sure they’re 100% vaxxed) under the bus, he’s acting more like a filthy rich entitled ass**** !!! LMFAOOOOOO
He’s been that way for a while…
LMFAOOOOo the former is wrong, but the latter is fine!!!!
With no tragic reprecussions, of course.
Kyrie creates his own karma
