The Cavs welcome the Hospital Miami Heat to the shores of Lake Erie for a Sunday evening scrimmage. This a golden opportunity to dominate an opponent and get into garbage time. Hopefully they put on a show, Go Cavs!

Bizarre about Vert. Read earlier that he said he was fine after the game. Hey, we still have our (new, improved, Vert-less) starting 5… though I suppose it would be Wade instead of Lamar if he was healthy. Regardless, Cedi said in his presser that they’ve got this one circled because of what happened in the play-in. Gonna be a dogfight. Big confidence booster if we can pull it out. Go Cavs!!!

Cedi getting 12 rebounds the day we start out without Kevin Love was so epic. Hope tape of this game is nothing but cedi’s rebounds, and also that one missed board when he leaked out too early trying to cherry pick. If we clean the defensive glass we are a hard as hell team to beat. The heat only getting 30 rebounds in the game was largely due to our smaller guys stepping up big time.

Lamar and Okoro stuffing stats way before garBAHge time. JA definitely frustrated. Yes, Miami missing a lot of offense, but I will take it. Hopefully the team D rises up against Hawks backcourt (and rest of team) tomorrow. Would like to go 3-0 when the spouse and I are in the House.

Sweet game with confidence boosting for Cedi and Okoro. Nice to see numerous examples of ball movement being rewarded by made 3s. Also some very nice plays by Lamar Stevens getting into the lane and hitting relaxed shots from 6-8 feet.
Going to need a big game tomorrow from Mitchell.
