Live Thread: Cavs @ Raptors

The Cavs find themselves on the banks of Lake Ontario to take on the Toronto Raptors in a rematch of the first game of the Cavs’ season. This game is a big one for a couple of reasons, a chance to bury one of the main competitors for a top six seed in the Eastern Conference, and a chance to avenge a loss from earlier in the season. The Cavs will have to do it with a hospital crew but stranger things have happened. Luckily they will finally have Caris LeVert back into the rotation, which is a sight for sore eyes. On the flip side Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam are both coming back after long layoffs due to injury, so it looks like all hands on deck for Toronto.
What’s the game plan? I’ll let Mr. Cavalier break it down:

I expected our D to take a massive hit when Allen went down. I expected us to have to weather more offensive draughts with KLove out. I expected us to have to watch mind numbingly uncreative offensive ball with only 2 guards allowed to play. I did not expect ALL the fun to drain from the team tho.
Also Levert’s mins could have gone to Neto and we might have fared a lot better, but at least JB gave up before another major injury (unless I missed something? stopped watching in the 3rd).

I agree with finding levert a better spot. but getting beverly is strange. JB won’t currently play any guard outside of Mitchell and Garland…why would an older than Neto option change that?
