Live Thread: Suns @ Cavs
2023-01-04Good evening CtB!
The Cavs welcome the Devin Booker-less Phoenix Suns to the shores of Lake Erie for a battle that will test the depth of both teams. Cavs will still be without DG, although Evan Mobley is supposedly a go.
Even though #Cavs Evan Mobley is back tonight, sources tell @clevelanddotcom that Darius Garland IS OUT once again. Beyond that, sources say Cavs will be making a change at starting small forward. All the details here:https://t.co/UHtzeY87r9

Tip off is scheduled for 7:00PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted live on Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes, Go Cavs!
Yeesh, why did the Lakers, up three with 4 seconds left, let Butler get such a good look from three? I wish Cavs opponents would be so accommodating. Terrible loss for the Heat, with Lebron and AD both out.
great. one of the half dozen teams I hate. of course, the Lakers are another.

DG getting highlighted.
Milwaukee and Toronto combine for 25 points in their 1st quarter after Phoenix and Cleveland combine for 29 in their 1st quarter.

Just finished catching up on the Team Pass stream. Quality win considering the entire team couldn’t hit a jumper for 2 1/2 quarters. Love the fact that it was not Donovan but Raul the Untrustworthy who carried the team back into this game. Lol! Down the stretch the biggest shots were a collective effort with 3s by Donovan, Cedi and Caris in sequence. And then they actually ran a play for Mobley (it looked like) for the go-ahead basket even though he looked awful on offense the whole way. As much as JB gets knocked for some things, he deserves… Read more »
most of the knocking comes from the fantasy gang.
Neto gets the JYD award. Hope that means he’ll get more playing time moving forward.
Bucks are gonna hold on on a Giannis dime to Allen put them up 3 in OT. Raps miss. 0.6 left up 3.
We are gonna stay 4th, bit within a game of 2nd.
Bulls beat the Nets tonight.
Bucks in OT vs Raptors.
For being 17/21, the Bulls have won a lot of big games.
Our record is a few percentages points off from the 1st in the West… not too bad..
Denver: 24-13 – 64.9%
Cavs: 25-14 – 64.1%
We are tied with Memphis with the most 10+ wins at 16-6 and Memphis 16-8..
We hit 3 3’s in the 1st half.. and made 6-11 in the 4th…
scored 33 in the 1st half.. and 31 in the 4th…
Suns: 43% 1st half | 36% 2nd half
Cavs: 29% 1st half | 49% 2nd half
4th quarter:
Suns: FG%: 35% (8/23)
Cavs: FG%: 56% (10/18)
What a way to win this ugly game..made the shots and stops when they needed it.
good stuff!
Cavs started 0-14 from 3, ended the game 11-22…
Man Caris can just carry us at times
and then frustrate us at other times.
JR Smith was a pretty useful player on a championship team!
love JR!
absolutely! Caris is a valuable asset. his “once every other week” really good game makes a big difference.
Some grind out wins lately!
Seriously, eff Chris Paul. Can’t wait till he’s out of the league.
We might have to change our mascot to the hamburglar, steal another win
And another beautiful ugly win.
Nice offensive games from Neto & Caris. Cedi not bad.
Big time clutch shits from Mobes & Mitchell on off nights.
I hate nights ehen we ignore Allen offensively.
REST IN PISS CP3

Neto JYD, right?
Likely. He was nails.
