We legit might not put it together for another month. It’s not great, especially with Philly and ATL looking better, but there’s a new offense a lot of new personnel and we have to figure out Mobleys best use / development.
Good thing is defense is largely still there and it travels.
Bummed we’re still seeing the trend of the Cavs needing to get punched in the face before they start playing with any intensity. Guess it’s something we need to accept about this roster’s demeanor. Guys taking the cavalier name too literally.
The game they came out with the most intensity (first Indy game) was the game they lost by the most.
On reflection I wonder if the crazy paint job contributed to Mobley’s bad pass on the break after the steal. That was a killer.
Hopefully Garland and JA will be more locked in after a game or two.
I was thinking that a team getting to practice on a floor with a weird paintjob would have an advantage.
I’m super annoyed we had to sit through 22 quarters of basketball to finally get a good complete quarter.

Bruce Brown just murdered the Cavs in this one. But they win if they don’t play a complete dogcrap first half. It wasn’t just missed shots, the defense was giving up drive after drive. That first half was revolting to watch.
Gonna break a record again here but JB has no business being the coach this year. He made one run during one season two years ago where this team was greater than the sum of its parts. And I think Kevin Love had more to do with that than we’ve been willing to admit. Those were the couple months of Cavalanches that got us all to believe this team was on the come up. At least we fought back; too bad it didn’t end well. If we struggle this much with the middle of the pack teams I don’t envy our chances against the Bostons, Denver, etc of the world. Its kind of sad almost that sports have become championship or bust; makes it kind of hard to enjoy a good-but-not-great team. Expectations are a b*tch
