Live Thread: Cavs @ Wizards

The Cavs traverse to our nation’s capital for a classic trap game against one of the Eastern Conference’s tank titans in the Washington Wizards. The Cavs have started off the season weathering the injury bug and mediocre performances, but looking deeper it’s clear that Coach Kenny Atkinson’s agenda is really trying to acclimate the back end of the roster to substantial minutes in preparation for the end of the regular season and beyond.
There are a lot of “new” guys Coach Atkinson is trying to get minutes for: Lonzo Ball, Craig Porter, Jr., Jaylon Tyson, Larry Nance, Jr., and Tyrese Proctor. The results have been mixed, but one of the biggest improvements to the Cavs has been their early season defense, rebounding notwithstanding. Will this gambit payoff in the future? Stay tuned… for tonight, let’s see if the good guys can take advantage of one of the worst defenses in the NBA. Rumor has it DeAndre Hunter is back and Dean Wade and Lonzo Ball are out.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:00PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted live on Fanduel Sports Network Ohio, Go Cavs!
Everyone one the team has hit double figure scoring at least once except for Bryant, and the two way guys. And Strus, of course.

Gonna need the Raptors to lose to Indy or Wiz at home to win the Group in the Cup, though.
Tryvto gonhuge on PT diff vs Indy & ATL to snag the 4th spot. Tonight was a good start. +23 diff is tied for 1st overall, though lots of otgers have only played 1 game.
I hope the Raptors win out. The NBA cup is a fool’s errand.
