The Cavs took the redeye flight back home to welcome the Chicago Bulls on the banks of the Cuyahoga River for an early season statement game between Central Division rivals. The Bulls, to the surprise of nearly everyone, have come out the gates hot and sit almost atop the Eastern Conference (only a half game behind the Detroit Pistons) with 10% of the season in the books. Tonight’s game is a SEGABABA with travel included for both teams, so there are no excuses for either team regarding the lack of rest.
The Cavs avoided getting trapped by the tanking Washington Wizards scoring 148 points last night against DC’s hapless defense. Can the Cavs continue to improve offensively and on the boards? Stay tuned…

Given all the injuries and up and down play from Allen, I will take 7-3 despite the mostly soft schedule.
Strus has not played at all. DG barely. Hunter, Wade, Merrill, Mitchell, Allen, and Nance have all missed time additionally. Along with Ball not playing b2bs.
Mobes has been clunky some nights. Ball, Nance, & Hunter have had rough shooting starts.
But Spida & Merrill have been fantastic. Tyson has levelled up.
Allen was awful yesterday. It’s a mystery how he’s so hot and cold.

Okoro had a great game by his standards. Led team in scoring, 3/4 from three, 6/6 from line. Wasn’t embarrassed except for being a victim of a chase down block.
That was a nice comeback win, shorthanded.
Mitchell huge down the stretch. Mobley & Hunter very good. Tyson with another good game.
Okoro: 19 pts on 5/7 shooting. Not bad for him.
