And as you probably already know, Anderson Varejao and Kyrie Irving have been left off the All-Star team. I’m fine with this.

There has obviously been a lot of talk about AV on the squad, and while I agree with the sentiment that Andy can anchor a championship team in the middle, the talent level across the East makes it hard to include him as a reserve. I think it’s reasonable to suggest that he’ll put up even better scoring numbers next season as Magnum KI (clever? no didn’t think…) continues to improve his already solid pick and roll game while posting similarly stellar rebound totals.
