2025-12-29The march towards 2026 continues, Cavs fans. Unfortunately, I don’t see a win in the cards tonight as the Cavs don’t seem to want to change what isn’t working, and the Spurs are coming off a very disappointing loss to the Jazz that will have them energized to right the wrongs.
Meanwhile, the Cavs have only Strus and Nance remaining on the injury report while De’Aaron Fox is is reportedly a game time decision for the Spurs. I’d be surprised if the Cavs got this one. I think the Christmas hangover continues and will continue until they do something to shake themselves out of therdoldrums. Whether that means a new coach, a shakeup to the starting lineup, or a trade remains to be seen. We’ll see what the new year brings. Go Cavs.

First two second half possessions Allen gets a feed right in the dunker’s spot and just bails out. Defender was there, but you’re 6’10”, go at them and make the refs call it. It’s what the Spurs would do.

I just don’t get how flagrant fouls are called on threes. Kornet jumped into Hunter’s space. The fact that Hunter didn’t land on his foot doesn’t make it less dangerous to me. Compare that to Brunson jumping forward and whipping his toe to contact Ball a couple games ago. Brunson gets the call. Makes no sense, other than the star gets the foul call.
