Live Thread: Cavs @ Bulls
2020-03-10The Cavs are in Chicago tonight to take on the Bulls. Since the All-Star break, Cleveland has gone 5-5. They’re in the middle of the league record wise during that time frame. It probably doesn’t mean anything, but I’d rather watch a meaningless win than a meaningless loss any day. The Bulls are 2-7. A win could be had.
I’ve been busy with work lately, so I haven’t had a chance to watch the Wine & Gold. Let me know in the comments what I should be on the lookout for.

Is it too optimistic to hope that Drummond is at least a little coach-able at this point in his career? He was mostly awful last night whenever he touched the ball. He needs to keep the ball moving or learn some post moves from Thomopson. I can’t believe I just said that.
Still, if Love can hit 1 or 2 more of those WIDE open threes and the most obvious goaltend call in NBA history is made, we win that game.
I believe 12/17 games left are roadies. Albeit there are some relative softies in there. Wins:

I do not think we need a Garland/Sexton trade, but they do need broken up for the most part. Too early to give up on Garland. We miss TT. A LOT.

2nd 5: Garland, Porter, McKennie, LNJ, TT
Last 3: Exum, Zizic, + 1 2 way/10 day.
Windler will help the shooting. A big playmaking guard (Ball, Hayes, Haliburton), a wing (Avdija), a combo forward (Okoro) or a big who is not LAF (Okongwu, Toppin) would also help.
This game showed that Cavs don’t have reliable shooters or any go to player to lift the team….bulls played scrubs and beat Cavs….despite some positives teams warts still exist…they need a 3/4 type player in draft and free agency…Cedi and McKinnie ain’t cutting it
