The Cavs welcome the Grand Rapids Gold AKA Denver Nuggets to the banks of the Cuyahoga River for a Friday night national TV showcase. The Cavs are looking to rack up wins and move up the Eastern Conference standings and get out of play-in territory. The Nuggets are looking to survive with their almost entire starting lineup being out with injury. The Cavs will also be out Sam Merrill and Dean Wade, but will welcome back DeAndre Hunter.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:30PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted nationally on Amazon Prime and locally on Fanduel Sports Network, Go Cavs!

Several “game time decisions” for Pistons incl Duren, LeVert, Tobias.
This whole month is Cavs v Cavs. Winning a game with an eight point fourth quarter (the Murray 3 was after the game was decided imo) is a small step.
Apart from OKC, no “bad matchups” – Allen and Mobley have killed Duren and Harris.
Garland being able to be Curry when he can’t be Conley saved the day.
Just caught up on this one – classic “half the opposing team is hurt” let-down. Good thing there were two better PGs (for tonight) on the floor than Garland. CPJ was great, and although running the offense is supposed to be his weak spot, it didn’t look that way; he had possessions flowing pretty well, found guys for variety of open looks and looked for his own when the team needed it. Not getting Allen & Mobley more involved with Joker & Jonas out was just dumb.
But a win is a win is a win.

Up to a tie for 5th and 0.5 game out of 4th. Lets go get 4th next game. Knicks & Magic both lost.
I’m putting that on Mobley. Seemed to me the game plan in Q1 at least was to feed the post much as possible. Donovan didn’t even take his first FG attempt until late in the quarter. But Mobley missed every FTA (0 for 5)and every FGA that was more than a foot from the basket, plus was at fault on several of the too-numerous turnovers. He is capable of much better, what the heck? Bad execution, not bad game planning.
Yeah if you were a Mobley, Garland or Allen hater there wasn’t a lot to change your mind here
