2026-03-11Happy Hump Day, Cavs Fans. Cleveland travels south to the land of mouse to take on the Magic who are still without Franz Wagner and Anthony Black. Cleveland will be without Jarrett Allen and Tyrese Proctor, and Max Strus has been sent to practice with the Charge. The rumor is his return is eminent.
The Magic have won four straight including a quality victory in Minnesota. Will Cleveland fall back to their doldrums, or will they rise above the level of the competition? I won’t be making any predictions. Haven’t had the greatest luck with that of late. Let’s hope the wine and gold bring the energy south. Go Cavs.
Wade is so matchup dependent. Ellis being good against a huge Magic team is interesting!

I think a lot of that (Tyson, Wade) was Kenny’s janky rotations preventing them from getting any flow. I was a huge Kenny fan last season — thought he was truly a huge part of it success — but have been pretty baffled by his coaching this year. Just seems like he’s been trying to figure things out all season rather than putting a system in place, doesn’t seem to have a feel for when players need extended run (or need to be benched) and doesn’t seem like he’s particularly connected to the players or having fun.

Have not been impressed with Kenny’s coaching of late. Way too much experimentation with lineups. Schroeder over CPJ? no Naequan? Over-reliance on Merrill?

Solid finish to the half – team is engaged. Active hands, quick thinking. A lot to like. Shooting could be better but it’s an intense game.
